Review: Aunt Ruby
Aunt Ruby, Do I Look Like God? By Ruby L. Taylor Illustrated by

In a society of many nationalities, it’s only a matter of time
before a child wonders who God really looks like. How can God
say He made man in His own image when we obviously have many
different features? In Aunt Ruby, Do I Look Like God? children
are allowed to wonder this age-old question, but then in the
twinkle of an eye, they’re given the reassurance they need in
knowing that “yes, they do look like God and so does everyone
else in the world.”
Sometimes, it’s the simple answers to our questions that leave
us with the most profound “aha” moment…and this was the case for
Ruby and her niece.
Finally, you won’t want to miss the captivating illustrations in
this children’s book. I can’t help but find myself wondering if
and when Ruby will turn that beautiful cover art into a greeting
card and poster line

Young heart broken, what do I say?
Alright dear, Momma’s hit a wall here. I’ve had a broken heart before, But My Neice tends to deal with things diffrently and it’s tearing Her apart.
A couple weeks ago My 13 year old Neice, Ruby, went to a friends birthday party and met this Boy named David who was nice to Her and asked Her to go see “Transformers” with Him. So, She gets Herself dolled up and is hyper as ever to go on Her first ever date, and He stood Her up and went to the movie with another Girl. I’ve tried everything to get that pretty little smile of Hers back on Her face but, She keeps crying and frowning, I know it can take a while to mend this but, I hate seeing Her so sad like this! What can an Aunt do?
David is 13 as well, if that makes any difference. and, I feel like I should include, she is a pisces.
I don’t think I have any advice to give that you probably haven’t already told her. I would focus on keeping her mind off of it. Have an all night girl party with absolutely no talk of guys unless of coure hotty movie stars. Give her plenty of real complements to remind her that she is well worth dating because she needs to have the confidence that will keep her going in school. Besides most girls don’t start dating until they’re 16. If you think that she has been depressed for too long or if she seems to be extremely depressed you should defenitly tell her doctor.
