Overview
The goal of Brazilian Phyre™, like most other diet pills is to speed up the metabolism, burn fat, and suppress the appetite. This product was designed for those who desire to lose weight and apparently look like the models pictured on the website. We weren’t able to find a website set up by the manufacturer, but did find sellers on EBay. We were able to locate a few testimonials by actual users, but not very many. In short, if one intends to find information about this product, there isn’t much available. Brazilian Phyre™ acquired its name from its main ingredient which grows in the rainforests of the Amazon. This product retails for around $20 on the internet.
Ingredients at a Glance
Brazilian Phyre™ contains some typical ingredients common to fat burners such as caffeine. However, the product also contains a few unique ingredients that make it differ from other fat burners – but is the difference worthwhile?
Ingredients in Focus
The main ingredient of Brazilian Phyre™ is Cha de Bugre. Cha de Burge is indigenous to the Amazon in Brazil, but also grows in other places in South America. This ingredient purportedly suppresses the appetite and provides the same effect as Ephedra without any side effects. Apparently it has been used for years by Brazilians to suppress the appetite. Only recently has its purported fat burning abilities been discovered in North America.
Other ingredients include Cayenne Pepper which speeds up the metabolism and improves circulation. Brazilian Phyre™ also uses Acai which is said to have fat burning principles – is there anything that this berry can’t do?
Guarana is a common caffeine used in Diet Pills. Catuaba is an appetite suppressant and nervous system stimulant that grows in Brazil, about which nothing much is known.
Positives
• Brazilian Phyre suppresses the appetite and stimulates the metabolism all in one formula.
Negatives
• Virtually nothing is known about this product.
• Products labeled Brazilian have come under scrutiny by the FDA recently because of their safety.
• Stimulating the central nervous system may be dangerous.
Final Thoughts
This product has received a tremendous amount of negative press. The manufacturer of Brazilian Phyre™ doesn’t even have a website since it is sold exclusively through distributors. There is also little information about the effectiveness of the ingredients. The manufacturer hypes up its effectiveness but fails to provide results for customers to review. Some of the ingredients, such as Guarana, are known, but have caused side effects because of caffeine content.

Why are Brazilian rescue workers in Haiti spraying earthquake victims with pepper spray?
aren’t they supposed to help instead of treating them like animals??? And to think that Brazil was one of the first countries to criticize the US’s efforts in Haiti. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article7003750.ece
