Help w/kitchen sudo remodel PLZ!?!?!?
I have gotten a lot of great suggestions on what to do with my tiny little dark galley kitchen. I am goint to take the doors off the upper cab. and put on curtains that will remain open 99 % of the time, should open it up a bit, but on the bottom I am leaving the doors on and will just staple gun on the same fabric in a pretty type way as I have pets so any idea of a good fabric etc to make all of this out of? I actually have some burgandy fabric I could use, a fabric shower curtain not in use, but think the dark color may just defeat the purpose. It is burgandy with gold design in it, Very Pretty, but would hate to cut it The kitch. is dark as I have no windows in there, I would like to lighten it up a bit but at the same time the accent colors are that of merlot red, olive green and off white. Walls are white right now as well as applc. The kitch. theme is one of french wine and dining. Plz help, I am at a loss of how to lighten and open the area up while keeping w/theme
for lighting u should get some under cabinet lighting and leave it on all the time.
to open it up try purchasing some mirrors they give the illusion of a larger room.
for fabric choices stick with light colors and just because you are using red green and off-white doesn’t mean u have to use the same shade of those colors so try a lighter olive green and make sure it isnt too heavy. like an organza
for even more openness try getting glass doors/coverings for some or all of the top cabinets
