My wife hides her light under a bushel?
My wife is hugely talented woman. She has a masters in fine art from the best art school in the country and she makes beautiful paintings and photographs. She is also a poet and has had her work published and even won prizes she also writes songs, sings and plays the guitar, piano and violin. She has a very pure and rich singing voice and sings english folk style music as well as her own compositions. She is very shy, quiet and contemplative sort who hates to be the centre of attention when she’s not being creative she’s reading or out in the garden with her telescope looking for some nebula or such. I’m a lucky man indeed but she is 35 (still beautiful and youthful) now and I sometimes think that it is a shame that she doesn’t share more of her gifts with the world. We are ok financially so it’s not the money but I just think that she is so incredibly gifted but hardly anyone would know. Should I push her a little more to let others see her abilities or let her do her own thing?
Let her do her own thing, but you can also go over this site on raising self esteem with her because you have said that she is very shy and perhaps raising her self esteem would allow her to perhaps find other things which she would enjoy such as making a video on utube perhaps or selling paintings on ebay. Don’t push her to do it though because she knows what she is comfortable with.
