Cuttings Plumeria
Cuttings Plumeria

My Plumeria, blew over & 1 of the 3 bigger stalks bent, I splinted it, what else can I do?
The stalk that bent is one of three, the stalk is about 4′ X 1 1/2 – 2″ thick. I splinted it with cardboard and string for about 2 months, it healed nicely, then I removed it, the pot (wrighted down with brincks) blew over again and the same area bent (at no time did to break). I guess I am going to have to make cuttings, but how big of pieces can I use, can I make 3 plants out of the bigger stalks ? Anyone have any otehr ideas? It is about time to bring it in for the winter (to go dormat), when should I start the new plants (I have read Plumerias 101,) it seams that the spring is the best time, but can I leave it splinted over the winter (now splinted with cut up plastic pot and wire, needed more support this time)?
Just cut it off and stick it in the soil. It will start a new plant. Very easy!
