I need help with my garden!?
I just planted Elephant Ears on one side and next to that I put in some rose bushes. On the other side of my walkway I planted a few other types of plants/flowers. All bulbs and such. I am new to the whole gardening thing. I was just wondering if you had any tips to keep them alive. And also how much I should water them. I live around Kansas city, if that means anything. Any tips would be nice.
EEs are easy and invasive, will take over unless you remove the runners they send out (runners can be grown in water or planted.) Will take full sun, like wet feet (being kept wet).
Bulbs will sprout, bloom, blooms will die, folliage will nourish the bulb, when folliage dies, cut back. Without knowing What you planted, can’t be more specific.
No easy way to tell you how much water to use, that will depend on your weather. You’ll be able to see if they are too dry.
