Can a cat die from getting into paint?
The paint was wall paint. We tried to get it off the best we could. We are going to cut the rest out. The paint spilled over and he ran through it. I am so scared because he is not purring and running from us. He doesn’t appear to have any on his tongue so I am not sure if he ingested any. There are no vets locally open right now.

I think Your Cat is just freaked out by how freaked out you are! Plus you have been trying to get the paint off, so that’s why he is running away and not purring. Just cut the paint out and he’ll be fine. Seriously.
