Acupuncture Health:
Acupuncture is part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and dates back thousands of years. It involves inserting fine needles into specific points on the skin or applying various other techniques to the acupuncture points to bring about healing.
The ancient Chinese proposed that a balance of two opposing yet complementary forces of energy, called Yin and Yang, sustain every living thing. Half the body’s organs and meridians are defined as Yin in relation to the other half, which are defined as Yang. When Yin and Yang are out of balance in the body, disease may occur.
How acupuncture is performed:
Choosing an acupuncturist:
Some health care practitioners offer acupuncture after completing a short course. However, the philosophy of acupuncture is complex, so you should only use a qualified acupuncturist. From 2000, all Victorian acupuncturists and Chinese herbalists have to be registered. You don’t need a referral from your doctor to see an acupuncturist.

Are granola bars healthy and good for dieting?
Are granola bars healthy and good for dieting?
The quakers chewy granola bars that are 25% less sugar have 5 grams in sugar, and I read somewhere that granola bars that have 5 or more grams of sugar is bad, and should opt for less than 5 grams of sugar granola bars. I’ve been on a diet and I’ve been eating granola bars in my diet (not the only thing I eat, of course!).
Which is the best, Quakers, Health Valley, or Nature Valley’s granola bars? And is it okay if I eat granola bars in my diet, especially the quaker ones, or should I switch because it has 5 grams of sugar in it?
i seriously doubt it; they are just glorified expensive candy bars………here’s a good rule of thumb on how to check for sugar content; a teaspoon of sugar has 5 grams of sugar; so if a product has, say 25 grams of sugar, thats FIVE TEASPOONS OF SUGAR your’e eating….no one needs that much refined sugar at one time………try eating fresh fruit and drinking more water and low calorie diet beverages..and more fresh vegetables (as in a salad!!) wouldnt hurt your weight loss plans either!!
